Here's a great email we received from a new fan!

I met you last night at the OC Fair thanks to your friend Kari. Your humility and dedication to putting on a great show was inspiring. I'm the big guy in black who just HAD to hug ya! Lemme just run down what I really liked about your show.
First, the entrance of all the band members chuggin' away on "Saint.." was really cool...I couldn't get over the drummer looking so much like Max and your sax man looking like Clarence. Then in YOU walked and I went...WHOA! Springsteen from the 70s...he LOOKS LUST LIKE HIM! So I settled in and kicked back for what I knew was gonna be a great show. The highlights for me were "Tenth Ave...", "Backstreets", "Jungleland", "She's the One", "Rosalita", "Thunder Road", "Spirit in the Night"...aw...kid you better get the picture! I LOVED the whole damn show!
The thing I really dug was the fact that you didn't just play "the hits"...you did tunes that only a true Springsteen fan would appreciate...like "Growin' Up" for example. And then you did the cool rap in the middle that reminded me of the Live 75-85 album. I was surprised how much you sounded like Bruce when you were speaking as well as your moves and mannerisms. For a couple of times I really felt like I was in a time machine watching Bruce at his classic beginnings when he was young and hungry. Let's face it Josh, you NAILED it!
Meanwhile your band was GREAT! I couldn't believe that you even ATTEMPTED "big" tunes like "Jungleland" or "Backstreets"...and then you TOTALLY pulled them off. Very very cool. Tell your band guys that they RAWK! And your tribute to Danny Federici was very heartfelt...I noticed you hesitated before you said his name...I held my breath to see what you would do...and you did it. You're a class act, Josh.
Your folks told me that you used to hang out at the Stone Pony and sit on the steps next to Bruce outside when you were a kid. Well, some of his DNA must have rubbed off on you because you and your band were unbelievable. I'm gonna be going to Irvine to see you in August.
This is effen GREAT! Now I can see Springsteen a lot more often and get my fix and inspiration without waiting as long! Thanks Josh! And thanks for being a down to earth, nice family guy who doesn't have big head or an ego the size of Jersey...although I wouldn't blame you if you did...BOSS! It was a real pleasure to meet you.
I sincerely wish you much continued success and all the blessings this life has to offer you and yours...

See you next month!
